It’s great to see you here! This is a collection of work I’ve completed as a Public Relations graduate at the University of Oregon. Check out my portfolio presentation!
Edelman
Edelman is a global communications firm with over 60+ offices worldwide. Last summer, I was an Influencer Marketing Intern for Sherwin-Williams and Unilever (Q-tips) in San Francisco, CA. My responsibilities included communicating with over 10+ influencers and their agents and doing content reviews for social media campaigns such as The Loneliest Color™ and Color Expert App™, as seen below.

Allen Hall Public Relations
During my time in Allen Hall Public Relations (AHPR), a student-led PR firm at the University of Oregon, my role was the Account Supervisor for Shelpful – an AI-task manager. Our deliverables included creating Instagram and TikTok carousels using their blog posts. On average, Shelpful’s Instagram interactions were 95 likes and 5 comments per post. My team and I created content that received a total of 643 likes, 119 comments, and 56 shares.

Campaigns Course
Coursework: PR Campaigns
My team and I have developed a new communications plan for the City of Silverton. After our site visit to learn more about the community, we’ve come up with strategies to achieve our three goals through objectives and tactics. We were also encouraged to be sustainable and develop long term recommendations for the client. We presented these ideas to the team at the end of the term.

Infographic
Coursework: J 452 Strategic PR Communications
I created an infographic about why travelers should make sustainable travel decisions and the effects of our carbon footprint. I used Canva to create the infographic and data charts.

Case Project
Coursework: J 453 Strategic Planning and Cases
My group and I created a feasible plan for a real-life client, SOJC PR and Dean Mundy. For this project, I primarily focused on details such as the objectives, timeline, and Gantt chart. We worked with PR faculty Kelli Matthews to reach alumni through LinkedIn.
News Release
Coursework: J 352 Strategic Writing and Media Relations
The assignment was to write a news release. I was tasked to write about President Scholz’s Emerald Award for Leadership, a fictious event. The assignment had to use the inverted pyramid and include a strong summary lede with an informative boilerplate.
Pitch Emails
Coursework: J 352 Strategic Writing and Media Relations
For the course above, I wrote pitch emails for an event, and I chose the University of Oregon football team’s Spring Game scrimmage. I got an introduction to MuckRack and had to find journalists with a sports beat that would be interested in covering the event. The assignment also included developing a media list.
Feature Story
Coursework: J 352: Strategic Writing and Media Relations
For this feature story, I interviewed my fellow colleague, Henry Swint. Henry is a business major who has a passion for music, playing trumpet for the Oregon Athletic Bands. Using Henry’s quotes, I was able to develop a story about his experiences and contributions in the band.
Social Media Strategy
Coursework: Social Media Strategy
My team and I worked on a social media audit for COPAS, a UK-based food and beverage company. This included influencer identification, external research report, and providing actionable recommendations.

Social Media Management
Oregon Athletic Bands
From May 2023 to May 2024, I was the PR Chair for the Oregon Athletic Bands (OAB). In this role, I developed posts publicizing OAB appearances on social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. I started a new Instagram from scratch, and received engagements from over 16k accounts. To create these posts, I learned how to use Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Additionally, I created four interview-style videos to promote on OMB social media channels with a two-day turnaround. I efficiently communicated with my peers and OMB staff, recorded, and edited these clips prior to the event. As a result, the OMB and School of Music and Dance received donations on UO’s annual giving day to go towards future events.
