Student Orientation Programs

Following my freshman year, I served as a Student Orientation Staffer (SOSer), guiding approximately 30 students per session across 10 summer sessions. In this role, I engaged with students from diverse backgrounds, facilitating meaningful conversations about the university’s resources and opportunities. I also led an identity-based workshop for over 300 students, sharing my personal experiences to foster connection and inclusivity. This experience honed my ability to represent the university with professionalism and empathy. I continued to work with the orientation department until graduating, inspiring incoming students to explore and embrace everything the university has to offer.
